HI everyone,
It has been a little while since I blogged so I thought I would have a catch-up on my Bee Crafty DT cards.

Here are a few cards I have made recently...

I love using Bee Crafty stamps as they are so versatile and lend themselves to all sorts of techniques. Its fun to experiment with them!
I hope you like my cards :)

Bee Crafty DT - jewellery

Hi everyone, today I have been blogging for Bee Crafty for six months so I thought I would share a little project with you which is a bit different.

I have used my Bee Crafty stamps alongside Fimo clay to make some beautiful jewellery.

I have made three sets of jewellery this week using different stamps. Here is the first set

This is my favourite set of the three and I used the Christmas Baubles stamp. I pressed the stamp into the clay and then cut the circles out.

The second set of jewellery uses the snowflake set of stamps

This time I pressed the stamp into the clay, then once it was baked picked out the shapes with a bit of paint.

The third set of jewellery used the Splatter Swirl border stamp

This time I picked one part of the stamp and pressed it into the clay multiple times.

I also went over this one with a bit of paint just to pick out the details.

I hope you like my projects this week. I always love to show just how many different ways stamps can be used so I hope to have shared some inspiration!

I haven't done much card making recently but this week I have gotten back into the swing of things, largely helped by attending a new workshop.
I have been twice now and the first one was using Lavinia stamps and pan pastels. These are the cards I made. I was really pleased with how they turned out and I love using the pan pastels. They make such gorgeous backgrounds!

This week we used brusho paints and heat embossing.

These are the cards I made.

I also made a bookmark that I turned into a card when I got home

I used a mixture of stamps including Visible Image, Tim Holtz, Inkylicious and Sheena

I came home and started making Christmas cards so I feel like I have gotten back into the swing of things!

Bee Crafty DT

Hi everyone.
I've been a busy bee making my design team cards for Bee Crafty every week and I thought I'd show a few recent ones.

This is the most recent one featuring the Banksy Balloon Girl stamp

This card was done all in one colour which was a challenge for me as I am a huge fan of using lots of colours.

This card featured my favourite colours and one of my favourite stamps

These are just a few of my recent cards and I hope you like them!

See you soon

Bee Crafty DT - Smile

Hi everyone. I love using colour in my cards and crafting but this week I wanted to set myself a little challenge and do a card just using one colour.

Here is the card I have made

I started by choosing my stamps. I love making the most of my stamps so I am always looking at them in detail and finding bits I can use maybe in a different way from the norm.
For this card I chose the Winged Things Pompadour stamp

I used just the tail section and stamped all the way round my card blank and my topper using Tea Dye distress ink.

I stamped my Wordage Smile sentiment into a scrap of card and mounted it and the topper onto Kraft card

I finished the card with some coordinating ribbon.

I was pleased with how it turned out. I hope you like it!

Bee Crafty Design Team - Swing

Hi everyone, this week I have been super busy so I have done a quick card which I think shows off the stamps beautifully. Here is the finished card

I started by using distress ink and an ink duster around the edge of some card. The colours used were bundled sage, forest moss and squeezed lemonade. I kept it darker round the edge and lighter towards the middle.

I then stamped the BEAUtanicals ferns round the bottom and BEAUtanicals cow parsley around the top to create a frame. I used forest moss, mowed lawn and bundled sage distress inks and used first and second generation stamping to create a feeling of depth.

To finish the card I stamped the Banksy inspired Swing and embossed it in black to make it stand out from the foliage.

I was pleased with how this card turned out and I will also make it in different colours.
I hope you like it!

See you next week

Bee Crafty DT - Love Hill

Hi all,
This week I have a beautiful card to show you using one of my favourite Banksy inspired stamps.

Here is the card

I started by stamping and embosing the Love Hill stamp on some white card and then randomly colouring it with distress inks and water. The inks I used were peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade and picked raspberry which is a combination I use a lot as I absolutely love the way the three colours go together. I mounted the inked card onto black and put it aside.

The background piece of card was done using spray ink and a can of air to blow the ink around. Once it was dry I added the large Sunshine Wordage sentiment. This was also mounted onto black card and then I assembled the card.

I added some crochet ribbon across the bottom of the background card and then mounted the image on foam pads to make it stand out.

I hope you like the card!

Have a nice week
