Bee Crafty Design Team - Being Happy

Hello! This is my first post for the Bee Crafty design team and I have created a card using the BEAUtanicals branches and wordage Being Happy large stamps.

Here is the card

I started with a square of card which I coloured round the edge with orange alcohol ink. I applied it using a piece of felt and my ink applicator. I then went round the edge adding BEAUtanicals branches in two different sizes. I used ripe persimmon and spiced marmelade distress inks.

The circle I coloured using ink dusters and distress inks. I used ripe persimmon and spiced marmelade again, and also added in a little barn door.
Then I stamped my wordage stamp using a brown pigment ink and a black pigment ink, slightly offsetting them.

I mounted the circle using foam pads to give it some height, then mounted the whole thing onto black card.

Here is the finished card...

I hope you like my first ever card for Bee Crafty!

Fairy magic

This week I have made a beautiful card and here it is ...
It is made with a combination of lavinia and inkylicious stamps and they work so well together

I started by stamping and embossing the fairy and toadstool
They are two separate stamps and are from inkylicious.

Then I masked off my moon and applied pigment inks in shades of blue, pink and purple to create my background
I made sure to ground the toadstool and then focused on the sky. I deliberately tried to make the sky lighter around the moon.

Then I added foliage around the side.
The stamps I used are a mixture of lavinia and inkylicious and the sentiment is from lavinia.

To finish it I added a few gems around the sentiment and layered it onto black card.

I have been playing with brushos this week and wondered if they would work with embossing powder.

Here are the results
The feather is using silver embossing powder and the birds are embossed in white.

I think they worked really well and will be making them into cards soon!

"These are the moments"

I made a gorgeous card this week and wanted to share it.

I made a few different backgrounds using brusho paints and chose one I liked. It is brilliant red, emerald green and ultramarine.

I stamped the inkognito butterfly from visible image onto it and the large butterfly onto another piece of brusho card

I used glossy accents on the large butterfly and then cut it out and stuck it over the inkognito butterfly.

I then stamped my sentiment onto the large butterfly waste and cut out the individual words.

I stuck the words on using foam pads to raise them off the page and only stuck the middle of the butterfly. This makes the wings lift off the page
Here is the finished card

I love this card and think the brushos work really well with the visible image stamps.
